The New Mexico Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) team is pleased to announce the offerings of two more Internet Web sessions (via Zoom) of the Remote Grower Training for February 23 and 24, 2021 and March 30 and 31, 2021. These will be the 9th and 10th  such remote trainings offered and they have all been well attended by interested participants.  These trainings continue to provide service to participants while currently under the health orders restricting in-person gatherings.  If you would like to participate in one of these events please register at https://aces.nmsu.edu/preparedness/psa-training.html. The February course will be held Tuesday February 23 and Wednesday February 24 from 8:00 am till 12:30 pm MST for the two days. And the March course will be held Tuesday March 30 and Wednesday March 31, from 8:00 am till 12:30 pm MST for the two days The cost is $45 for New Mexico residents and $90 for non-residents. This includes manual plus shipping as well as the PSA certificate.  New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA) will be covering the cost of the manual for NM residents. The manual will be mailed directly to your home or to your “COVID accessible” address prior to the video training via US mail unless otherwise specified.  Attendance via video and audio at the training for the entire 8 hour course is mandatory (divergences must be pre-approved). Non interactive attendance will result in no course credit, no certificate and no refund. Manuals must be present and in view during the course. For the unlikely event that the manual does not reach attendee in time prior to class start the attendee will be rescheduled for another course.
Registration closes for the February class on Friday  Feb. 12 at 5 PM and for the March class Mar. 19 at 5 PM - to allow for postal delivery of manuals. Receiving hardcopy manual is mandatory to take the course and to receive your certificate. Space is limited so REGISTER TODAY!
