Planting a crop this fall that benefits from additional winter moisture?  You're in luck as weather forecasters predict that our current El Nino pattern is expected to hold until April 2016. This will bring the best chances of precipitation since the winter of 1998-99. That's good news for New Mexico's farmers and ranchers as we struggle to restock reservoirs and green up ranges that have been brown for too long.
